You must be the "change"; you wish to see in the world! - Mahatma Gandhi

The unique experience of unprecedented times of last 2 years has brought a tremendous attention rather brought a significant 'CHANGE' in our lives. The 'change' which is more to do with the "Action over Words". Just like Sustainability, which is not anymore just limited to concern, it's more about actions. Actions that plays louder than Words. With the great emergence of Sustainable Quotient in clothing, a large part of the 'society' is still either inactive or lacks the knowledge or perhaps ignorant of the entire process. The 9th Prelude of Green Fashion India, brings a stronger yet smarter, concerned yet more action packed, deep yet powerful initiative on Sustainability. Sustainability which is not only limited to the Products and Processes but also takes it beyond the regular responsible approach of an individuals to the wider perspective- the "society".

Advocating "Social Sustainability" through Perspective and Practices to enhance Lifestyle quotient

The GFI intends to uplift the Social Quotient by building a network of individual who have an ability to maintain sustainable approach for a long period of _me. Social that defines the charisma of every stakeholder, has endless possibilities of incorporating Sustainability beyond Fashion such as lifestyle. The Lifestyle that define habits, attitudes, tastes, moral, values, quality of life, diversity, connectivity and togetherness in life. The ethical framework of society to connect and cooperate with other individuals for the benefit of the economy and ecosystem is what inherits the Social Sustainability. We believe that the Consumer demand over holistic sustainability in the lifestyle can revolutionise the way entire ecosystem works and see a radically different sustainable paradigm in society. With serious regards to the 17 sustainable goals, GFI has initiated "Advocating Social Sustainability" with sub themes that cover a wide array of perspectives to encompass numerous practices to be inculcated in the lifestyle for sustainable futures. GFI believes that "Sustainability is no longer doing less harm, but it's about doing more good, coming together for good and growing together for good" and hence the theme this year is a torch bearer
