Guidelines for Online/ Offline Aptitude Test - 2025
Dear Participant!
Warm Greetings from MKSSS's School of Fashion Technology, Nagpur.
Kindly go through and follow the given instructions for a smooth conduct of SOFT NAGPUR APRIL ONLINE/OFFLINE APTITUDE TEST- 2025.
Students need to mention their name, course and their student id/Registration number on each and every test
APTITUDE TEST IS CONDUCT BY BOTH ONLINE AND OFFLINE MODE ON 29th and 30th April 2025
PRE-APTITUDE TEST-REQUIREMENTS FOR SOFT APRIL ONLINE APTITUDE TEST- 2025.
Software requirements
For online exam you will require
- Laptop or desktop with a browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and even Internet Explorer) and good speed internet connection.
- Mobile phone/tablet with good camera for video recording
- Minimum 3G internet connection is required compulsorily.
- Download Google Meet App
General Ability Test
- Time - 45 mins
- Marks - 30
- For exam you will require-
- Laptop or desktop with a browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and good speed internet connection.
- Minimum 3G internet connection is required compulsorily.
APTITUDE TEST PRE-REQUIREMENTS - General Ability Test
- Timing for General Ability Test-10 am to 10.45 am
- Link for General Ability Test will be mailed on registered email id 15 mins prior (at 9.45am)
- The time will start the moment student logs in for the test.
- The link will automatically stop after the given time slot.
- Check your computer.
Avoid last-minute problems! If you're using your own computer or one in a lab, verify that it has all the correct hardware and software, well in advance of the exam. Also, make sure you'll be in a location with an adequate Internet location.
APTITUDE TEST PRE -REQUIREMENTS- Personal Interview
- Time 10-20 minutes

- For exam you will require
- STATEMENT OF PURPOSE - A STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (SOP), in the context of applying for SOFT, is an essay that's one of the most important aspects of your application. It is essential for every candidate to submit statement of purpose. This is to be submitted along with the interview form Minimum 200 words can be handwritten or printed
A statement of purpose should justify
- Why career in fashion?
- Why School of Fashion Technology?
- Why you are so deserving candidate?
- What you want to do in future?

REQUIREMENTS-Personal interview
- Timing-15 to 20 mins. For individual
- Interview will start from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm
- Interview will be taken on What’s App call Be in good internet connectivity zone
- No distractions
Turn off all notifications from your phone, your email, and elsewhere (or, set them to silent). Shut off the TV and radio. Let your roommates or family know that you'll be taking a test, so that they're less likely to interrupt you during that time.
- Keep 5-7 best creative work (portfolio) with you in case asked by the interview panel

1) 12th Pass in any Stream - Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science.
2) Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
3) Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) Diploma of minimum two years after Standard 10th (any stream).
