The process of design is very challenging but rewarding knowing that it makes a difference in someone’s life. In the present times it’s very evident that design is needed and applicable to any and every field possible. To enter and excel in this field as a professional one must have the right attitude and aptitude to function efficiently and competently in the agile eco space.
MKSSS's SOFT Information
Established in 1998, MKSSS’s School of Fashion Technology (MKSSS’s SOFT) is one of the top fashion institutes in Pune, providing quality fashion education to its students in areas namely Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Jewellery Design, Fashion Merchandising and Sustainable Fashion.
Training Educators at MKSSS’s School of Fashion Technology along with visiting Industry experts continuously impart up to date knowledge to the students. Our institute of Fashion and Technology is committed to shaping the students’ minds and intellect for present and future fashion scenarios.
Admission Procedure
- Step 1: Registration for SOFT CET 2025
- Step 2: Fill the enquiry for by filling all required details.
- Step 3: The admission counsellor will call, counsel you about the queries regarding course.
- Step 4: Post counselling the registration form link will be sent on registered email id.
- Step 5: Candidates need to fill necessary details and upload passport size photo and scanned signature. Both need to be JPEG files not more than 2mb.Signature must be bold.
- Step 6: After registration is complete the page will direct you to the payment procedure.
- Step 7: The registration process is completed after the successful transaction.
- Step 8: The sample question papers will be mailed post completion of registration.
- Step 9: There is unique number (registration no/student id/admit no) which will be auto mailed after registration. There will be no admit card provided by the college.
*Note: no refund of registration forms fees.
MKSSS’s SOFT reserves the right to make changes in the procedure as and when required.
The Entrance Examination will consist of General Ability Test + Studio Test / Group Discussions + Personal Interview. It is mandatory for all the candidates to take all three tests.

Online Test
- Time: 10am to 10:45am
- Link of GAT will be mailed 15 mins prior test.
- Mention the unique number and name to start the test.
Studio Test
- Time: 11am to 12.15pm
- Google meet link 1 will be given one day prior to groups.
- Students need to join the link after completion of GAT.
- Instructions will be given to students by the Moderators in the Google Meet.
Personal Interview (Portfolio + Statement of Purpose)
- Time: in between 1pm to 4pm
- Google meet link 2 will be given 15 mins prior to groups.
- Students will have to wait for the turn.
- Students if leave the Google meet, they will not be disqualified from SOFT CET.
- The students should have digital portfolio ready. Not more than 4-5 pages.
