Business Incubation Program Objectives

A business incubation program at MKSSS’s School of Fashion Technology in Pune would provide resources and support for students to develop their fashion-related business ideas. This could include mentorship, access to industry professionals, and resources such as equipment and funding. Additionally, as the institute is for women’s education, it would provide an opportunity for female entrepreneurs to gain the skills and support they need to succeed in the fashion industry.

Objective:

  1. To provide mentorship and guidance from experienced fashion professionals and industry experts.
  2. To provide access to equipment, facilities, and funding opportunities to bring ideas to life.
  3. To facilitate networking and collaboration among entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and other participants.
  4. To offer a comprehensive curriculum covering product development, branding, marketing, sales, and business management.
  5. To provide opportunities for participants to pitch their ideas to potential investors and receive feedback and advice from industry experts.
  6. To offer workshops, seminars, and other events to help entrepreneurs develop their businesses.
  7. To promote diversity and gender equality in the fashion industry by empowering female entrepreneurs.
  8. To drive growth and innovation within the fashion industry through the development of successful startups.
  9. To help entrepreneurs build their brands, reach new customers, and grow their businesses.
  10. To contribute to the development of a supportive ecosystem for fashion entrepreneurship.

 

Achieving the mission of fostering a dynamic and innovative environment for the development of fashion startups:

  1. Provide mentorship and guidance: Pair participants with experienced fashion professionals and industry experts who can offer advice, feedback, and support throughout the incubation process.
  2. Offer access to resources: Provide participants with access to equipment, facilities, and funding opportunities to help bring their ideas to life.
  3. Encourage collaboration and networking: Organize events and opportunities for participants to network and collaborate with industry professionals.
  4. Offer a comprehensive curriculum: Design a comprehensive curriculum that covers all aspects of starting and growing a fashion business, including product development, branding, marketing, sales, and business management.
  5. Facilitate investment opportunities: Organize pitch sessions for participants to present their ideas to potential investors and receive feedback.
  6. Provide continuous support: Offer ongoing support and resources to help participants continue to grow and develop their businesses after the incubation program.
  7. Encourage innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and encourage participants to think creatively and take calculated risks.
  8. Promote diversity and gender equality: Make diversity and gender equality a priority by encouraging and empowering female entrepreneurs.
  9. Measure success: Regularly evaluate the success of the program and make improvements based on feedback from participants and industry professionals.
  10. Foster a supportive ecosystem: Work with fashion organizations, institutions, and other stakeholders to build a supportive ecosystem for fashion entrepreneurship that can continue to drive growth and innovation in the industry.
